Our sources are public congressional testimony, court filings, FOIA releases, inspector general reports, and other official records. We do not aggregate from news reports or secondary sources. When you read a quote on Internal Politics, you can trace it to the exact document, page, and source it came from.

The publication is modeled on the format pioneered by Internal Tech Emails: a chronological walk through the communications that tell the real story, using the participants' own words.
